This unique mile-long fishing bridge, exclusive for pedestrians, stretches across Nassau Sound, offering anglers access to some of the finest fishing spots in Northeast Florida. Fishermen here reel in a diverse range of catches, from whiting and jack to drum and tarpon. The bridge operates from 8 a.m. to sunset, all year round, connecting visitors through Amelia Island State Park. Night fishing is off-limits in this serene environment. Conveniently located seven miles north of Little Talbot Island State Park on State Road A1A or eight miles south of Fernandina Beach, this hidden gem provides a tranquil escape for fishing enthusiasts. Make sure to swing by On the Line Bait and Tackle shop to gear up for your fishing adventure, offering a selection of bait, tackle supplies, snacks, and beverages through their walk-up window. While the interior remains closed, the shop operates from Thursday to Sunday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Mondays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., staying closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
